Accompanist

We are seeking a new accompanist to join us in September

Alcester Singers is a SATB choir based in Alcester, Warwickshire. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings during school term time; 7:30-9pm.

We are looking for an experienced choral accompanist to start in September. The role is to play for rehearsals on a Monday evening (7.45-9.45pm) during term times, with the potential to play piano, organ or harpsichord in concerts, where appropriate. It is desirable, but not essential that the successful candidate will be able to lead sectional rehearsals, as well as cover when the Musical Director is not available.

Vivace! is a small choir who sing an eclectic mix of music, and perform concerts about six times a year around Sussex working with and for local good causes and charities.

We are looking for a piano accompanist/rehearsal pianist.

Cleeve Chorale seeks an experienced accompanist ideally to start in September 2024.  

The Leeds Philharmonic Society (“The Phil”) are seeking to appoint a new accompanist for the chorus to start in September 2024.

The Leighton Buzzard Festival Singers are looking for a new accompanist to play for our rehearsals, which take place on Mondays from 7.30-9.30 pm at St Barnabas Church in Leighton Buzzard.

Portsmouth Choral Union is one of the leading amateur choirs in the South of England, and are seeking to appoint an accompanist for September 2024 due to a career move  by our present accompanist. 

We number between 100-115 auditioned singers and perform four concerts per year plus a Come and Sing event and an occasional Workshop day. We sing a wide range of repertoire from large classic pieces to more contemporary works. Our dynamic conductor David Gostick is a champion of unusual and little known works, and also has a wide experience in opera and church music.
