About us

Watford Philharmonic Society invites applications for the post of Rehearsal Accompanist, following the retirement of our current post-holder and available from April 2024. We are a well-established SATB choir of around 120 voices, with our own largely amateur orchestra.

Ealing Voices (formerly Ealing Common Choir) is looking for an accompanist due to relocation. 

Our 40-strong choir of mixed voices usually performs three concerts each year, covering a range of classical and more contemporary works. We are non-auditioning choir but strive for high standards and have performed many well-known choral works as well as some more unusual pieces.

Knaresborough Choral Society (KCS) is a well-established SATB choir in the historic town of Knaresborough, with approximately 45 singers. We rehearse in Gracious Street Methodist Church, Knaresborough, on Thursday evenings during term-time, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Established for nearly 40 years, the society performs three concerts each year, covering a wide range of music. We are a non-auditioning Society but strive for high standards and are proud to have performed many of the great choral works. We also perform at numerous local and community events throughout the year.

                                                                               APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR

Ipswich Chamber Choir is a well-established group of around 45 voices approaching an exciting 40th Anniversary Season.   Friendly, hard working and enthusiastic, we give three concerts a year - in late autumn, March and June.  We meet weekly for rehearsal in the centre of Ipswich on Tuesday evenings between September and June.

Are you an accompanist looking for a rehearsal/concert role with a large, lively, mixed voice, South Wales choral society? Côr Bro Ogwr needs you!

A bit about you

You’ll be available to join us on Wednesday evenings 7-9 at our rehearsal base in TabernaclChapel, Bridgend. You’ll be welcome to accompany us in our three concerts a year, (usually in the excellent acoustic space at All Saints’ Church, Porthcawl) as pianist and/or continuo player. You may have organ experience, but this isn’t essential.
