Cantar Community Choir is an exciting, non-auditioning, mixed voice choir of around 50 singers, founded in 2015.  We enjoy singing a variety of musical genres all sung in four to eight part harmony.   We are looking for a new Accompanist/Assistant Musical Director to work with our Musical Director, Eimear Hurley and join a choir with a keen sense of fun but also with a passion for singing and the ambition to try new material and continue to improve our performances.

We are currently recruiting an accompanist to start in September 2022.  The Chiltern Choir is a small friendly auditioned choir.  We meet every Tuesday evening (7:50pm - 10:00pm) in term time at Hillside Church Hall, Hillside Road , Chorleywood WD3 5AS. Our repertoire includes classical and modern/contemporary choral works.  Our Musical director is Michael Cayton. Closing date for applications Saturday 30th April. Brierley Hill Choral Society (founded 1934) is looking to appoint a rehearsal accompanist for the season beginning September 2022.

We are a 4-part choir with a traditional repertoire. We perform a concert in December, usually with a seasonal theme and another in May, which usually includes a major choral work, (this coming May we are performing Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonnelle). We use professional soloists for our concerts.

Porthcawl Male Choir are looking for an assistant accompanist to accompany in rehearsals on Friday evenings 7pm - 9pm to start early in  2022.  The choir sings a wide range of music including songs from Musicals and Popular Music, Welsh songs and hymns, including some modern arrangements.  Whilst we take our Music learning seriously, we do have a lot of fun along the way and we are a very friendly choir.  A good sense of humour is therefore also an asset.

Requirements are:

1.    Piano performance of at least Grade 6 standard.

Principal accompanist covering wide range of music.
