MUSICAL DIRECTOR

Chaddesley Voices, Worcestershire.

We are the community choir Chaddesley Voices and we are seeking a new musical director. The Choir was founded in 2009 and has a membership of about forty five people – sopranos, altos and a small but distinguished group of tenors and basses.

Our aims are to encourage anyone who loves to sing (no auditions required), to increase the vocal repertoire of our members, to improve - individually and collectively - our vocal skills and to enjoy choral music in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We are looking for someone with charisma, enthusiasm and experience in choir training who can take us forward to new challenges. We enjoy a wide variety of repertoire from popular songs and medleys to classical pieces.

We meet in St. Cassian’s Church Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire on the second, fourth and fifth Tuesdays of the month at 19.30 for two hours (during the winter at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall).

Wetherby Choral Society seeks a Music Director for September 2025

Wymondham Symphony Orchestra has just celebrated its 40th anniversary year as the principal symphony orchestra in South Norfolk. The current Musical Director, only the second in its history, will be stepping down in July 2025 and the orchestra is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced professional to take over the role. 

The LIverpool Renaissance Singers is seeking a Musical Director to start working with the choir no later than 30th April 2025.   The choir specialises in mainly unaccompanied music spanning the late mediaeval to early Baroque period.   Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 7.30-9.30 in Liverpool city centre.  

Basingstoke Choral Society, one of the leading amateur choirs in North Hampshire, is looking to appoint a new Music Director from September 2025 to succeed David Gibson, who is stepping down after 40 highly successful years in the role.

This is an opportunity to lead a well-run, friendly choir to the next stages of its development. Remuneration will be competitive and reflect the experience of the selected candidate.
