Conductor/Music Director

Unique opportunity to lead an enthusiastic community band to perform locally and nationally in a range of musical styles.

The Louth Choral Society are looking for a dynamic, energetic and experienced Musical Director to start in January 2025. The Louth Choral Society is a mixed voice, auditioned adult choir (SATB) of around 45 experienced and enthusiastic singers. The choir has been in existence since the 1830s and performs a wide variety of choral music, both sacred and secular, from the 16th Century to the present day. We aim to achieve high standards of performance and hold three concerts per year, one of which is usually accompanied by professional musicians and soloists, and we also join in a community Carol Concert in December. Our home venue is in the magnificent Church of St James in Louth, although we have also performed in other town churches around Lincolnshire. We rehearse on Mondays at the Salvation Army (13 Church Street, Louth LN11 9BS) from 7.30-9.30 pm during term times and we have an excellent accompanist who plays at the rehearsals and concerts.

Claygate Choral Society is looking to appoint a new Musical Director to commence in January 2025. Formed in 1959, we are a local choral society based in Claygate, Surrey, comprising around 45 members.

A new  Musical Director is required for Coats Choral (formerly Thomas Coats Memorial Choral Society) for the season starting January 2025

Remuneration is by annual fee to be agreed with the successful candidate as will terms of contract

Selection will be by interview and participation in a short audition rehearsal with the choir on 24th September 2024 in Paisley.

We are a vibrant and happy choir who sing a varity of music styles. We do 2 concerts a year and other guest spots when requested such as weddings, social events. 

Experienced Choir Leader required to take over our established choir in Sutton Coldfield on Wednesdays from 7.30pm - 9pm. Mostly term time plus 3 weeks in August

The South London Singers (SLS) seek an experienced Music Director to lead and inspire our diverse group of around 35 singers from January 2025.  

The SLS were founded in 1982 in Beckenham, south-east London.  We are an amateur chamber choir known for its wide repertoire of choral music spanning many centuries and styles.  We perform both intimate chamber music and larger choral works, and collaborate with professional and emerging musicians, including distinguished conductors, accompanists, and soloists.  As a non-auditioned choir, our members range from beginners to semi-professional singers. The director must skilfully balance the group's varied experience levels.

Bath Camerata is looking to appoint an inspirational new Musical Director to lead the choir and to build upon its reputation for excellence, established over more than three decades. The position provides the opportunity to work with a committed and talented group of singers and to collaborate with prestigious national and international musical events.

<p>Music Director required for a non auditioned choir of about 70 SATB. We perform upto 4 concerts a year from traditional oratorios to a lighter summer concert. We meet during term times on a Monday evening in Warwick.</p>

The Warwick and Kenilworth Choral Society (WKCS) are looking to appoint a new Musical Director. WKCS is a non-auditioned choir of around 70 SATB voices. We enjoy singing from a wide repertoire of choral music - from the traditional canon of oratorios and folk songs to more contemporary work. Our hope is to produce performances that have a positive reaction from our audiences, and good local press reviews.
