Wetherby Choral Society seeks a Music Director for September 2025

Wymondham Symphony Orchestra has just celebrated its 40th anniversary year as the principal symphony orchestra in South Norfolk. The current Musical Director, only the second in its history, will be stepping down in July 2025 and the orchestra is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced professional to take over the role. 

The LIverpool Renaissance Singers is seeking a Musical Director to start working with the choir no later than 30th April 2025.   The choir specialises in mainly unaccompanied music spanning the late mediaeval to early Baroque period.   Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 7.30-9.30 in Liverpool city centre.  

Basingstoke Choral Society, one of the leading amateur choirs in North Hampshire, is looking to appoint a new Music Director from September 2025 to succeed David Gibson, who is stepping down after 40 highly successful years in the role.

Longwell Green Orchestra in Bristol has a paid vacancy for the post of Musical Director/Conductor. We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to motivate and inspire our members, whilst maintaining the friendly and inclusive atmosphere of the orchestra. London Concord Singers are looking for a new Music Director.  We are a small a capella chamber choir of around 22 singers, performimg a wide range of repertoire, from early music to contemporary. We rehearse in the Smithfield area on Monday evenings.

We are looking for a Choir Director to develop and lead the Sheffield Choir through the pilot project. You will lead the choir on a weekly basis from Sheffield Cathedral.  You will have experience and/or an understanding of coproduced projects and working alongside people who live with vulnerabilities in their lives.  You will also be able to work from your own initiative and have confidence in leading alongside members. You will co-lead the choir alongside our Sheffield Choir Manager, who will coordinate a range of non-musical aspects of choir and also lead on delivering approximately two gigs during the pilot. There are also opportunities to lead on community workshops in homelessness services on an ad-hoc basis in order to spread the Choir with No Name love.
