In summary:

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at New North Road Church, Huddersfield from 7pm to 9pm over the academic year, usually 36 per season.

Currently, Voices has three concerts per year, plus incidental and joint events.

Skills required

• Ability to work with a wide range of musical abilities including untrained voices
• Commitment to principles of excellence and inclusion
• Extensive knowledge of suitable repertoire
• Knowledge of developments in choral practice
• Ability and willingness to contribute to strategic discussions and planning and to share practice
• Ability to work collaboratively within and beyond the HCS family
• Confidence in communicating with a range of participants and audiences, including the media, as an advocate and spokesperson
