MUSIC DIRECTOR

We are a mixed choir which meets in Brockenhurst on Tuesday evenings, drawing singers from all areas of the New Forest.

The role offers the opportunity to prepare the choir for two concerts per year, which usually take place in St Saviour’s Church, Brockenhurst in May and December.  In previous concerts, we have performed a wide range of classical choral music, often with professional players and soloists.  For further details, please see our website   www.brockenhurstchoir.org .   Members are happy to sometimes explore a wider range of music than we have traditionally tackled.

We are looking to appoint a professional musician with a thorough knowledge of the choral repertoire and proven experience of conducting a mixed voice choir and orchestra. We are hoping to appoint an enthusiastic Music Director with good communication skills and a love of their music and inspire us to continue moving forward in our musical development. Experience in vocal technique coaching is desirable.
