Conductor/Music Director

Ware Choral Society was established more than 120 years ago as an amateur SATB choir. We currently have around 100 non-auditioned members. We recently conducted a visioning exercise and there was unanimity about wanting to continue to expand the range of music we sing, to embed ourselves even more firmly in the local community and to aspire to even higher musical standards. We have performed many of the major choral works along with an eclectic mix of modern works from composers such as Chilcott, Rutter and Lauridsen.

Epworth Choir is seeking a new Musical Director starting in October 2023 to replace Michael Waldron who has been MD since 2014.

Pitchcraft is an auditioned a cappella choir with 60+ members, based in Edinburgh. We are looking for a new musical director to join us as soon as possible.

We sing original arrangements of a wide variety of music including our trademark mashups and medleys. The choir learn from scores but we also welcome non music readers and provide audio tracks to support learning. We have an extensive repertoire of arrangements but our ideal candidate would also be keen to suggest new music and encourage us to expand our musical horizons, aligned to our core essence.

Lytham St Annes Choral Society, an enthusiastic amateur mixed (SATB) choir of around 50 members is looking for a new, forward-thinking Music Director to build on the choir’s strong tradition.

The appointment will take effect from September 2023 or January 2024 if notice is needed.

Congresbury Singers is a well-established, non-auditioning SATB choir which has been performing for the local community for over 40 years.  We normally host 4/5 concerts a year, usually in November, December, Spring/Easter and Summer, plus supporting events such as Christmas carol singing & winter Wassailing in the village.

An exciting opportunity to join and lead the amazing Zero Degrees Chorus has arisen. In return we are offering a very dedicated and hard- working chorus who are ready to share their enthusiasm throughout the community and beyond, performing in close harmony and barbershop style.

With the forthcoming retirement of Graham Walker in summer 2023, we are looking for an experienced choral director to start working with the choir in January 2024.

The choir has around 35 singers, membership being by audition. We perform a cappella music from all periods and often work with an organist or occasionally with small professional instrumental groups. The choir also commissions and premieres works from their New Music fund and New Cambridge Songs scheme.
