Description of vacancy:
We are looking for a Principal Conductor to work with our amateur chamber choir in the Chipping Norton area in north Oxfordshire. NC3 – the North Cotswold Chamber Choir – is known locally for its high standard of singing, varied programmes, and friendly welcome to singers and audiences alike.
We would like to appoint someone with in-depth knowledge of repertoire from plainchant to contemporary composers, and excellent choral direction skills. We’re discerning and capable of captivating performances, but we meet for enjoyment and pleasure in making music together. A sense of humour and a desire to work alongside us to encourage and support us are essential.
