Christ Church Jazz Choir is auditioning for sopranos and tenors! We're looking for confident soul/gospel/jazz ensemble singers who are seeking more performance experience and the chance to make music with like-minded individuals committed to engaging our local community in jazz musical worship.

Our choir is a three-part harmony semi-professional jazz choir who lead the worship at a monthly Jazz Vespers at Christ Church Highbury in North London alongside a professional jazz piano trio, directed by Rachel Maby.

We are ON THAT NOTE, an ambitious North East London a cappella ensemble which sings highbrow, lowbrow and eyebrow-raisingly good jazz, spiritual, classical and popular tunes.

We are no ordinary chamber choir - Lesley Garrett is our Patron, Suzzie Vango has just taken over as our Musical Director, we sing a very wide range of challenging music to a high standard and we like to tour.  We don't rehearse every week, maybe 5 or 6 rehearsals before each performance, usually on Friday evenings.

We are a new, exciting, friendly choir with a  fast growing reputation based just outside Battle, in East Sussex.

We sing a wide variety of repertoire, chosen in conjunction with choir members. We have a dynamic and inspirational Director of Music who has taken us from 8 female singers to 24 SATB in just 18 months. We often sing with Louise Winter, our President , who is an international opera star and who from time to time offers the choir masterclasses or individual singing appraisals.

The Lost Sound is an amateur choir based in South Devon trained and directed by singing teacher and choir coach, Sandra Smith. We are auditoning for singers in all sections in early January.  Singers do need to have had some choir expereince before auditioning as we work at a good level and quite fast!

We have an ethos of vocal and choral education. We are looking for singers who want to work on their own individual vocal skills and whole choir's sound and performance skills. We rehearse weekly and attendance/availibilty to both rehearsals and concerts is important.

We believe strongly in the power of music, and especially singing, to bring people together and provide memorable experiences and as such our music is pursued in an enjoyable and positive fashion. We have a soft spot for early music and many of our programmes feature repertoire from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
