Singer

In Accord singers

In Accord is actively recruiting a number of new singers. You must be able to hold a harmony and be committed to rehearsing weekly throughout the year. Ideally you should be able to read music and sight sing - but this is not essential! You'll be part of a small ladies chorus who love to sing and pride themselves on continuously improving their quality.

Tenor and Bass singers

It's the eternal cry from choirs but, yes, we are looking for more tenor and bass singers.

We are a brand-new choir, our first rehearsal was last week so you would be in on something from the start. We are trying to form a choir that bridges the gap between no-audition community choirs and full on professional groups. Most of all we want to find ways to perform our songs that everyone is comfortable with but we are not another choir stood at the end of a room singing at people.

Baritones

Southend Vox was established in 2009 and since then has become a pivotal part of the Southend Community. They have performed their varied repertoire (including pop classics, rock songs, songs from popular musicals through to more traditional choral pieces) throughout the county and further afield at venues such as the Guinness Storehouse, Dublin and Union Chapel, London.

In that time, the number of men in the choir has ebbed and flowed, but in recent months’ this has proven a greater challenge for the choir, and now, they need YOU!

Royal Choral Society – all voice parts

Calling all singers! The Royal Choral Society is looking for new members across all voice parts so if you fancy singing in a vibrant, versatile and busy choir then why not come and try us out?

Singer (male voice)

"The Downsmen" (the North Surrey Barbershop Harmony Club) is open to new members at all times, and particularly when we run a 6-week "Learn to Sing in Harmony" course, from time to time..

We are a male a cappella and Barbershop chorus, meeting weekly on Wednesday evenings in Leatherhead. We sing to a wide variety of audiences, from Probus clubs, charity events and choral festivals to pub regulars.

Sopranos wanted

Chandos Choir is looking for more Sopranos (other voiceparts also very welcome)!

Please come and try us out, we are a good choir just in need of a few more voices to improve confidence and strength. We sing a wide variety of styles - classical, baroque, early music, modern classical from new composers, also opera, G&S and some musicals!

Choral scholarship

The Esterhazy Singers Choral Scholarship for young singers 2017/2018

Following the successful inaugural year of their choral scholarship scheme for young singers, the Esterhazy Singers are pleased to invite applications for their 2017/2018 awards.

The choir is based in the City of London under the inspirational leadership of Andrea Brown who was elected as Musical Director of the choir at the end of 2016. Andrea is a highly experienced choral conductor and artistic director who has a professional singing background.

Contemporary a cappella group in Surbiton - Tenor, Bari, Bass

We're actively seeking singers with lower voices (Tenor, Baritone and Bass) to join our a capella group. We sing an eclectic selection of contemporary music arranged by our musical director, Matt. Examples include Creep by Radiohead through to Spain by Chick Corea via Like a Prayer by Madonna. We’re looking to complement our fabulous existing team with more lower voices. A third of our group are men - so any chaps won’t be outnumbered!

New singers

Wessex Harmony (Poole, Dorset), are looking for female singers. New singers are always welcome, whatever your experience level, or even if you haven't sung since school, and whatever your voice type.

We sing pop and contemporary four-part A Cappella arrangements. You don't need to be able to read music as aural teach tracks are provided.

We compete locally and nationally, and like to do all sorts of sing-outs, ranging from street busking to formal concerts.

Come and have fun!
