Cantiones Choir is an enthusiatic and committed group of around 40 voices, based in Oswestry,North Shropshire, that aims to sing to a high standard. Under our current MD Martin Bussey we have achieved that. Martin will be retiring in December 2024 after five years at the helm, during which time we have benefitted hugely from his choral expertise and experience. We are looking for a charismatic trained musician with a passion for choral singing to take the choir forward from January 2025. Could that be you? Welsh Camerata/Camerata Cymreig, Wales’s specialist early music choir, seeks a new Music Director to start in September 2024.

After more than two years our choir leader/conductor is leaving us and our area from about the Autumn of 2024. 

We are a small choir (between 15 and 18 people) and have had access to the musical talents of Andrew Hague for free. We are looking to replace his role, if possible, but would not be able to pay much as we have very little income and our members are mostly retired on  limited pensions.

We currently meet on Tuesday evenings at St Mary's Church, Uffculme. Uffculme is a small, working village in Mid-Devon just 8 minutes from Junction 27 on the M5. 

The Trustees wish to appoint a successor to Richard Vendome, founder and Director of Oxford Girls’ Choir and of Oxford Youth Choirs, who will retire in July 2024 after 40 years. The Musical Director leads a team of talented teachers, and the role combines elements of artistic and musical direction, as well as operational oversight.  Oxford Youth Choirs is a family of six groups, aged 9 months - 19 years, each with its own teaching staff.  The choirs rehearse in Oxford on Saturday mornings during school term.

Inverurie Orchestra is a community orchestra (registered charity number SC051922), based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, comprising amateur and some semi-professional players from Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city. Membership of the orchestra is circa 48 players. The orchestra, founded in 2007, performs 2-3 concerts a year in and around Inverurie. The Musical Director will be responsible for the programming, preparation and performance of the orchestra’s concerts in conjunction with the orchestra’s committee. In collaboration with the leader, they will also oversee musical and technical development.

Gravesham Choral Society, a non-auditioned choir, based in Gravesend, is currently seeking an enthusiastic new Music Director (MD) with effect from 1 September 2024, taking over from Alan Vincent who has been our MD since 1981. This is a remunerated position.

Accomplished A Cappella Choir in Hertfordshire looking for a new Musical Director

We are looking for an experienced, creative, fun and inspiring Choir Director to lead our Brighton choir involving people impacted by homelessness. You will have experience and/or an understanding of conducting music projects with people who live with various vulnerabilities. You will also be able to work from your own initiative and have confidence in leading the choir at gigs big or small as well as creating engaging and accessible workshops.
