String players

Manchester Beethoven Orchestra is always happy to welcome new string players. We play 4 to 5 concerts per year, usually including a concerto with a soloist from the RNCM. The repertoire includes the standard works and also pieces which are less well known so there is always something new for even the most experienced players. Our orchestra has a reputation for the friendly atmosphere of its rehearsals.

We meet on Tuesday evenings, 7.30-9.30 pm at William Hulme's Grammar School.

Principal Bassoon

We have a vacancy for Principal Bassoon due to retirement.  We are a friendly and hard-working orchestra playing a great range of music at venues in Hampshire and Surrey, attracting some wonderful Guest Conductors and international soloists under the guidance of Artistic Director William Carslake.  Further details of how to contact us if you are interested are via this link: http://www.farnboroughsymphony.org.uk/about-fso/join-the-fso
