Stafford Sinfonia, one of the leading chamber orchestras in the West Midlands, are looking for new members to join their ranks as they embark on their 50th anniversary season.

Performing three concerts a year of baroque, classical, early romantic and light music to large and appreciative audiences in Stafford, the orchestra relishes performing well-known classics alongside lesser-known gems to a high standard and in their own distinctive style.

Clarinetists - any instrument

Ocean Brass are looking for a tenor trombone player to complete our trombone team.

Based in Southampton, we rehearse once a week on a Thursday evening. We are a friendly, enthusiastic, third section band and aim to have a good balance of concerts, contests and social activities planned throughout the year.

We are a chamber orchestra (mainly Baroque, Classical, Early Romantic) and we are looking for another desk of 2nd violins, a first violin and a double bass player.

We rehearse term-time in Derby on a Tuesday evening. Previous orchestral playing experience is required. 

We are looking for experienced players Principal Cello, Flute and Trumpet, sharing 1st and second parts and 4th Horn. Six concerts a year rehearsing on Tuesday evenings in Todmorden, West Yorkshire.

Crumpsall Concert Band is a community wind band based in north Manchester. We are currently looking for percussionists to cover :

Drum Kit, Mallets, Auxilliary and Timpani.

Kit is available at the bandroom.

Following a busy 2018 and our recent strong placing at the areas; Moulton 77 Brass Band are looking forward to the next chapter in their storyand are keen to welcome new members. We are a friendly, lively group of musicians with aspirations of moving into the third section but we need more like minded players to swell our numbers.

We rehearse on Tuesday 8pm-9.45pm

All players welcome, particularly cornets and trombones.

We are on the lookout for violinists, violists, cellists, double bassists, oboeists, bassoonists, french horns, tubas and harpists. No auditions, just come along and play 

Anyone interested is welcome to come along to a few rehearsals on a trial basis.  Full membership costs £50 per term. Student or otherwise in need £30 per term. Professional musicians are welcome to join us without charge.

Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm at St. Mildred's Church Centre, Bingham Road, Addiscombe, Croydon, CR0 7EB.
