Description of vacancy:
DCS is a SATB choir of approximately 40-50 singers, singing three concerts a year of both secular and sacred music, including larger scale works. We are a non-auditioning choir and pride ourselves on a welcoming, inclusive experience as well as high musical standards.
Rehearsals are currently Tuesday 7.30 - 9pm in Northbourne School in Didcot during term time. The successful candidate will be an excellent piano accompanist and have advanced sight reading skills and be competent in score reading. A willingness and ability to take the occasional rehearsal (or sectional rehearsal) is an advantage, as is the ability to play the organ. Patience and good sense of humour are essential!
Remuneration for this post is negotiable, depending on experience.
