Communications and Marketing Manager Fi Simpson presents Music Mark's first ever hybrid annual conference - Fast Forward: Technology and Music Education - happening in person and online from 2-3 December, with on-demand sessions available before and after the event.
Technology is a key element of all aspects of music education – as an instrument, as a learning and teaching tool, and as a support for administration and communication. Through this theme, we will explore how to take advantage and harness the power of technology to enhance the work of the music education sector.
Bridget Whyte, Music Mark CEO
Sessions will explore key issues, such as promoting race equality through music and storytelling, using elements of music tech to overcome barriers to inclusion, and much more. There will be plenty of opportunity for delegates to ask our speakers and panels questions, share their own expertise and develop solutions collaboratively.
At our exhibition, delegates will have the chance to meet industry leaders in person, mingle with fellow delegates, and try out new instruments and technologies.
Feedback from last year’s conference:
'Everyone involved was really passionate and knowledgeable about their subject.'
'A timely affirmation of why we work in the field we do and why we should continue to believe in the power of music both during and beyond the pandemic.'
