CALLING SOUTH WEST BASED STRING and HORN PLAYERS

The EX4 Chamber Orchestra is an Exeter-based group meeting several times per year. We rehearse intensively over a weekend (usually a bank holiday weekend) and put on a concert on the final day.

London Mandolin Ensemble is London's only plucked string ensemble. Instruments are: mandolin, mandola, classical guitar and double bass. Our Musical Director is James Young.  We are looking for a confident guitarist of around Grade 8 standard to to join our guitar section, which currently has three players. We rehearse twice monthly on Mondays at Crown Court Church of Scotland in Covent Garden, and give 4 or 5 concerts a year. We're keen to maintain a good standard, while having fun!

Kent Opera is a music and theatre charity that delivers educational workshops and productions in a variety of community settings across the UK, but primarily in the South-East of England.

To date, we have focussed on the professional development of singers, but in 2017 we are exploring new avenues, for which we need the talents and expertise of creative music and drama makers. This is suitable for a singer or instrumentalist with a knowledge of opera.

Wakefield Orchestral Wind is a thriving wind band based in Ossett, West Yorkshire, however, we would love to have more players in our brass section.

If you are of Grade 6 standard or above and are interested in joining, please do get in touch with us.

We play traditional wind band repertoire which encompasses all sorts of genres.

We do not charge membership or subscription fees as we believe that music should be accessible to all regardless of financial standing.
We welcome additional brass and woodwind any time, but are currently, actively seeking trumpets, trombones, euphoniums/baritones.

Kew Sinfonia is a group of talented amateurs and music teachers dedicated to performing the chamber orchestra repertoire from the 19th century to the present day. We wish to engage a leader to work closely with our conductor to continue our technical and musical development. The commitment is for a pattern of three concerts per year with rehearsals on three prior Sunday afternoons and one Thursday evening. The orchestra performs at St. Anne's Church in Kew.
