Our fifth meeting in our Climate Network series (original event 11 April 2024) discussed the ways in which music groups could come and share their learnings on climate-related music projects.
The speakers for this event were:
- Matthew Elderton-Lewis, Conductor and Composer, who spoke about the EcoMelodies project he is putting together, which is focused on repertoire, concerts and how to engage audiences in the climate change conversation. To find out more about Matthew's work, visit his website.
- Alice Nicolay, Senior Officer Environmental Responsibility at Arts Council England, who talked about what funding might be available for your group’s climate change related projects, including an overview of the ACE Environmental Responsibility Investment Principle.
The views represented by the speakers in this webinar are their own, and do not represent the views of Making Music.
