MM Platform is designed so that no single group member has to manage everything. Most Platforms will have one webmaster, whose job it is to manage the technical aspects of the website, assign admin tasks and fix problems. The upkeep of the site and day-to-day administration can be delegated to other members and admins in your group. For example:
- Your group's membership manager updates membership details
- Your event coordinator manages the event calendar
- Your music team curates the music library and upload learning aids, sheet music etc.
- Your publicity officer writes newsletters and send them out to your group’s mailing lists.
While the webmaster can see every part of the site, roles like the ones above can be restricted so that admins can only view and update the areas for which they’re responsible.
