On 8 December, the UK Government announced that England will move to Plan B of the COVID-19 Autumn/Winter Plan. This is in response to increased risks posed by the Omicron variant of the virus.
This is not a lockdown - under Plan B measures, music group activities (rehearsing and performing) can still go ahead.
But there are new restrictions, which might mean you have to adjust some of the measures you have in place to reduce risk at your rehearsals and performances. These are around face coverings (now required at indoor public places) and proof of Covid status (now required for large events).
See our guidance tool for more information about what has changed and what you need to do.
