Music Director

Lytham St Annes Choral Society, an enthusiastic amateur mixed (SATB) choir of around 50 members is looking for a new, forward-thinking Music Director to build on the choir’s strong tradition.

The appointment will take effect from September 2023 or January 2024 if notice is needed.

Founded in 1909, we have performed three concerts a year in November, December and April and, although steeped in the traditional choral classics, we are very happy to embrace new and unusual repertoire. Our last concert was the NW premiere of the Ethel Smyth Mass in D when we collaborated with another choir, a school choir and an orchestra.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings, 7-30 to 9-30pm in the United Reformed Church Hall in St. Annes on Sea, FY8 2AE.
