The Berlin Philharmonic is looking for 100 leisure-time musicians to perform Johannes Brahms’s First Symphony on 21 May 2018 as part of their Education Programme’s BE PHIL Orchestra project.
You could play on Berliner Philharmonie stage in the place normally occupied by the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle.
If you want to be a part of the BE PHIL Orchestra and the Philharmoniker family, apply with a video showing you playing your favourite piece of classical music. You can upload your video to the BE PHIL website from the beginning of January. A jury consisting of members of the Berlin Philharmonic will select the candidates from the first 1,000 entries.
With experienced orchestral musicians and Sir Simon Rattle taking the rehearsals, they will be held under professional conditions. The concert will be given in the Philharmonie and shown live in the Digital Concert Hall.
