Musical Director

Our new Musical Director must be able to develop the skills and abilities of all members and have a strong working knowledge of all areas of the orchestra. They must be able to create a safe and enjoyable inclusive space for members to come and make music together, whilst maintaining the musical progression of the orchestra. They must be available to conduct all rehearsals and concerts set (in discussion with the committee where specific circumstances means this cannot be met). They must have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to work with the committee, effectively plan and programme in advance and demonstrate the ability to work with directors of other groups during joint community events.
