Musical Director of the Hardynge Choir, Harpenden, Herts.

A vacancy has arisen for the Musical Director of The Hardynge Choir, Harpenden, Herts, following the appointment of our present MD, Rufus Frowde, to be Artistic Director of the English Chamber Choir.

It is anticipated that the new MD will start in September 2024.

The Hardynge Choir is a friendly and enthusiastic, non-auditioned SATB choir of about 60 adult members who:

• Rehearse on Mondays in term-time from 7:45-9:45pm in Wheathampstead, Herts;
• Perform a range of sacred and secular choral works but enjoy variety and new challenges;
• Have an excellent long-standing accompanist;
• Perform 3/4 concerts a year in local churches and secular venues.
