Global Harmony Community Choir based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, is looking for a new Musical Director to start in January 2023.
We are a mixed a cappella choir that likes to sing for fun in a friendly environment – but to a high standard. As our name suggests we love learning to sing harmony songs and rounds from all around the world, as well as familiar pop, folk and gospel songs in English. We like a challenge!
Can we tempt you? It would be wonderful if our new musical director has a background of the NVN but it’s not essential. It’s more important that whoever comes bonds with the choir and has the musical knowledge and enthusiasm, and some directing experience, to develop the choir’s performance.
We can offer an attractive remuneration by negotiation and the support of a committee responsible for the day to day running of the choir.
