Musical Director

Following the retirement of our founder Musical Director after our July 2023 concert, we are looking to appoint someone from September 2023 who is sympathetic to our core aim of enabling as many people as possible to enjoy as wide a range of musical styles as possible.  While we may have the numbers for large scale single works, recent concert programmes show that what we - and our capacity returning audiences - enjoy and are known for is a broad mixture of the sacred and secular, old and modern, serious and fun.  We need someone keen to encourage new singers (or those returning to singing after several years' absence) and also to stretch those more experienced.  Fees for this self-employed position to be negotiated.

From small beginnings in 2010, we now have around 75 members who rehearse on Wednesday evenings (6:30 - 9:00pm) during term time at All Hallows School, Farnham, Surrey.  Our aim has always been to encourage everyone to experience the joy of singing, so we do not hold auditions and there is no requirement to read music.  We have a regular accompanist.
