Musical Director

Clacton Choral Society has been part of the Clacton community for over 100 years. We are a friendly choir of approximately 65 members performing three well attended concerts a year.  There is no audition process for members so the choir contains differing levels of musical ability and experience.  We rehearse on Monday evenings with a regular professional accompanist.  Further information can be found on our website www.clactonchoral.org.uk

We are seeking a Musical Director for January 2023.  The successful candidate should be an able musician and experienced conductor with a broad knowledge of the traditional repertoire.  The person will work with the committee and show strong leadership; have excellent communication skills and a clear directing style.  The appointment comes with remuneration dependent on experience and would be subject to an annual review.
