Music Director

A vacancy has arisen for a Musical Director for The Athenaeum Singers following the forthcoming re-location of our present MD, Timothy Coleman, to Edinburgh. It is anticipated that the new MD will start in September 2022. About us: - We are a friendly and enthusiastic, non-auditioned SATB choir of about 60 adult members and are keen to attract new members. We rehearse weeklyin term time with a resident accompanist. We currently perform 2/3 concerts a year, held in a local church. At present we perform a range of sacred and secular choral works and enjoy new challenges. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings 7.30pm-9.30pm in Christ Church, Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NS. The successful applicant would be engaged on a self-employed basis, being responsible for their own Tax and NI contributions.
