Chorus Master

Corsley Festival Choir near Warminster in West Wiltshire is looking for a dynamic chorus master to work with the choir on a weekly basis preparing them for 2 concerts a year to be conducted by our MD Dr Edward-Rhys Harry, with a possibility of becoming the choir’s future MD. We are a friendly mixed choir of around 50 members with varying degrees of musicianship but always up for a challenge!

The successful candidate will have a choral conducting qualification, be an effective communicator and team player with lots of energy, a good sense of humour and a professional conduct! They will liaise with Edward and thus benefit from his choral and conductor training experience in choosing appropriate repertoire and working with amateur choirs and their committees.

The choir rehearse on a Monday night in St Margaret’s Church, Corsley from 7.30 to 9.30 (if needed a lift can be arranged from Warminster train station).

Concerts are performed in the same church on the 2nd Sunday in December and May.
