The Chiltern Sinfonietta

The Chiltern Sinfonietta was established in 2012. Our programmes are built around the works of the major classical period composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Schubert and Beethoven, but also include works from the chamber orchestra repertoire of composers from the Baroque to the present day.

We aim to play three concerts each year in the Chilterns area and to make our performances as informal and accessible as possible. In addition to our own orchestral concerts we work closely with other local groups to promote a wide range of live music events in and around Tring

Admission to most of our concerts is FREE with a retiring collection, and many are given in aid of local charities. Since the orchestra's inception in 2012 we have raised over £10,000 for these causes.
