Porthcawl Community Orchestra

We are a community of over 60 musicians who enjoy putting on multiple high-quality performances each year.

We welcome people from all musical backgrounds at the PCO and pride ourselves on our diverse membership - we have professionals, students and adult returners who all enjoy making music together.

Don't worry if you haven't played your instrument since your school days, as many of our members hadn't played in a few decades before joining us. You'll find it's like riding a bike - you'll get back into the swing of things in no time!

We require that you are at least of Grade 5/6 standard before joining us. No audition is required to join. A short term instrument loan may be available in some cases.

We play a huge variety of music and perform at a broad spectrum of events.
