Liverpool Mozart Orchestra

The Liverpool Mozart Orchestra is one of the UK’s leading amateur orchestras whose members include music professionals in addition to experienced players from a wide range of other occupational backgrounds. Founded in 1951, the LMO works with professional soloists and conductors, which over its long history have included Peter Donohoe, Zubin Mehta, Martin Roscoe, Sir Charles Groves, Carl Davis and its President, Sir Simon Rattle. The LMO is also pleased to offer a platform for emerging young musicians and has close ties with Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music.
