Hull Philharmonic Society

The Hull Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the country's leading amateur orchestras, combining seasoned players with students. In a \"normal\" year, three regular concerts would be staged, all in Hull City Hall. The repertoire is extensive, and the programming imaginative. A tradition of commissioning new works will be extended over the next two years to include work from young local composers. The Orchestra is always open to new initiatives - compiling preparing and playing the \"8-Bit Symphony\" during 2019, for example.
