East Grinstead Concert Band

The EAST GRINSTEAD CONCERT BAND (founded in 1974 from the original Town Band) is a friendly and active community based concert wind band which attracts a diverse membership throughout the East Grinstead area and beyond, of all ages and experience. The Band today follows proudly in the traditions of our musical forefathers of the old Town Band and are proud to represent the wonderful town of East Grinstead, whilst playing throughout the local area and abroad. Under the banner of the BLUEBELL RAILWAY BAND, we perform at Horsted Keynes and Sheffield Park Railway Stations and at various "Bluebell" events throughout the year.

Rehearsals take place on WEDNESDAY evening between 8-10pm in the East Grinstead Social & Ex-Services Club, Station Rd, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 1DJ.

WE WELCOME NEW MEMBERS - There is a wide range of experience and ages amongst our players so ALL are welcome to come along and try us out. There is no formal audition but prospective members are required to be able to perform to a good standard and make a regular commitment to the Band’s concerts/events.
