An Evening with Sarah Connolly, Nicky Spence and Friends

An unforgettable evening of exceptional and profoundly beautiful music.

Dame Sarah Connolly DBE, one of the world’s greatest mezzo-sopranos, joins electrifying tenor Nicky Spence OBE, 2025 RPS Award-winning company Streetwise Opera, and critically acclaimed actor Simon Callow for an unmissable one-night-only performance to raise funds for Streetwise Opera's work with people experiencing homelessness in London, Nottingham and Manchester.

The programme includes arias from the operas Giulio CesareTheodoraAlcina and Solomon by George Frideric Handel, sung by Streetwise Opera patron Sarah Connolly at her most commanding and expressive. Nicky Spence, praised by The Guardian for the “luminous intensity” of his Peter Grimes with Welsh National Opera, will perform a joyous selection of classics.

The evening, hosted by our brilliant patron Simon Callow, also includes a short recital by Streetwise Opera’s London participants. Developed as part of our Nature project, this performance features music by Handel and Léo Delibes.

All proceeds will support Streetwise Opera’s work enabling people experiencing homelessness to find inspiration and empowerment through singing and creativity.
