The Dewsbury Collegians AOS

Dewsbury Collegians was founded in 1932 as a singing group at Dewsbury Technical College. The Group progressed and Dewsbury Technical College Operatic Society was born with a production of the Mikado in Dewsbury Town Hall. The Society separated from the College in 1957 and became the Dewsbury Collegians AOS.
Our aim is to bring musical theatre to Dewsbury… and provide a friendly environment for people of all ages to participate front of house, backstage or onstage.
We may be amateurs but we aim high because we think people in Dewsbury deserve to see affordable but professional quality performances.
