Borders Chamber Orchestra

A new chamber orchestra, created in July 2023, to enable experienced amateur musicians to play classical orchestral music together in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Concerts will take normally take place in Melrose Parish Church and surplus proceeds will be donated to a charity selected for each concert. The initial format will be a single rehearsal in the afternoon and a concert in the evening. It is planned to have three concerts per year under different conductors.
