Cello tutor for the East London Late Starters Orchestra (ELLSO) Saturday morning term-time programme

Cello tutor needed to join our great team of tutors at East London Late Starters Orchestra (ELLSO) from Jan 2022 for our term-time Saturday morning teaching programme in Bow, East London

ELLSO is a registered charity, started over 35 years ago, with a philosophy that music-making is within everyone's ability. We are an East London based teaching string orchestra for adult late starters, regardless of age, background, experience or income and we want to encourage people to play music. This post is an opportunity to teach enthusiastic adults of all abilities – including beginners – committed to learning in a non-competitive group setting.

To start on Saturday 15th Jan 2022, hours 9.15am-1.30pm.

Duties: to provide group tuition in cello in five ranges of ability, to lead and support ensemble sessions, to teach a musicianship class and to work as part of the tutor team in conjunction with the members-led committee
