Musical Director – Surrey Heath Singers

Surrey Heath Singers is a choral society based in Camberley Surrey. We are a long established non-auditioned choir of 60 members. We meet weekly for rehearsals on Monday evenings and run four main concerts a year.

We are seeking a worthy successor to carry on with the development of this dedicated and enthusiastic choir, following the retirement of our long standing Musical Director, Andrew Phillips

The candidate should demonstrate leadership and skills to maintain and develop the substantial experience of the choir. The successful candidate will be a gifted, enthusiastic and creative musical director who, with the help of our talented accompanist Geoff Tuson, will enable us to improve our performance, grow our numbers, and build on singing opportunities

We have developed an exciting and varied musical programme which includes; from classical to jazz, from sacred to secular, from the stage to Classic FM. The choir is managed by a community based group of experienced volunteers. The MD would work alongside the team to develop the programme and to contribute to our community and outreach work.
