Trombone players wanted - Grade 7/8 standard

The Royal Sutton Coldfield Orchestra is a high quality amateur orchestra that performs 5 concerts a year under guest or resident conductors.  It is very keen to promote performing opportunities for young musicians with the orchestra holding a “Young Soloists” concert in March, which gives aspiring musicians the opportunity to perform a concerto movement and is often their first public performance with an orchestra and in June or July, a children’s concert is organised in conjunction with its very own Youth Orchestra, giving the players their first experience of playing with a full orchestra.

We currently have vacancies for trombone players of around Grade 8 standard.
