Description of vacancy:
The Oriel Singers in Liverpool are looking for new members of our choir. We especially need; Tenors, Basses and Sopranos but will welcome Altos too; there is no audition but potentially a music test at the Musical Directors discretion to ensure that you are in the correct section. A basic ability to read music is required.
We run 3 terms mirroring a school/academic term starting in September, practicing on Tuesday evenings 7.15 to 9pm in the centre of Liverpool at Our Lady and St Nicholas near the Liver Building. We sing a broad range of Repertoire from early music to modern classical pieces and pop. There are normally 4-6 performances a year and might include some church services.
Subscription fees last year were £85, but may raise and there is discretion on a case-by-case basis.
