Chantry Quire

Directed by Peter Allwood since 2015, the choir draws singers from across Sussex; we rehearse in Arundel, and give concerts in Chichester, Petworth and the surrounding area. We perform challenging music old and new, sacred and secular, in three major concerts a year (with occasional extras) - two a cappella and one with small orchestra. The choir is auditioned, and all singers will have had substantial choral experience, be able to read music well, learn music quickly, and prepare for concerts over 5 or 6 rehearsals. We are currently a choir of approx 28 singers (but hope to recruit a few more); it is a sociable, friendly group.
