To make funding instruments, venue hire, memberships, and competitions easier, we’ve partnered with easyfundraising, so fundraising can take care of itself and you can concentrate on making music!
Ok, what’s easyfundraising?
It’s a website and app that gives your member group free donations from online shopping. So when your members, their families and friends shop with over 8,000 retailers like Amazon, eBay, Just Eat, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Etsy, M&S, Tesco, Argos, Screwfix, Booking.com, and thousands more, the retailer gives your music group donations for free.
How much would we get?
Donations differ from retailer to retailer, but someone using Confused.com to compare and buy car insurance could get you up to £18. Booking a family holiday with TUI, up to £75, or ordering their food shop at Sainsbury’s up to £7.50.
Can we get donations on anyone’s online shopping?
Yes, anyone – your members, their families and friends, even the local community. Once you’ve signed your music group up to easyfundraising, there’s an area in your account called ‘Promote My Cause’. This is where you’ll find lots of free marketing tools you can download and share to encourage people to sign up to easyfundraising and support you.
Do we get any help from easyfundraising?
Of course! The easyfundraising team is always on hand. As you sign up, you’ll be prompted to book a call with an expert for a free 1-2-1 call on a day and time that works for you. Don’t forget there are also all the free marketing tools in ‘Promote My Cause’.
Who else is using easyfundraising?
Thousands of music groups like you! Some groups have had incredible success with easyfundraising, like Friends of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra who have raised nearly £7,000. Cheshire Chord Company and Tiffin Girls Music Society have raised almost £6,000 each as well.
That’s just a small part of easyfundraising. Over 190,000 good causes and charities have raised over £55 million for free!

Why should we sign up through Making Music?
We have a partnership with easyfundraising that means if you sign up through us, you are raising money for your group and Making Music. Every time you get a payment from a retailer, we get one too. This does not eat into what you get for your group. Whether you sign up through Making Music or not, your group gets the same. But if you do sign up through Making Music, we get a payment too – and of course any money we raise goes back into helping members.
