Musical Director

Ware Musical Theatre are looking for a Musical Director for our production of FUNNY GIRL from 19th to 23rd March 2024
Reheasals are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays and start around October 2023

The Musical Director’s duties will be as follows:
To teach the company and guide them through the music in preparation for staging of Funny Girl in conjunction with the Director and Accompanist appointed by the Society.
In conjunction with the Director, to prepare and publish a rehearsal schedule to enable the cast to be available when required, and to ensure adequate rehearsal of all parts for the show to be performed.
Be responsible for auditioning of members of the Society for selection of the cast and Company for the show to be performed, in conjunction with the Director, and any other persons appointed by the committee, on a date to be agreed with the chair of the Society.
Select and appoint musicians to perform in the orchestra at the production of Funny Girl and to conduct all performances
Advise and assist the Society in all musical matters.

The performance will be in the 'round' at Ware Drill Hall Amwell End Ware
