Description of vacancy:

October 2023:  Trinity Orchestra currently has vacancies for a Tenor Trombone and String players, especially Doublebasses - all of whom should be Grade 8 standard and above.

Trinity Orchestra, founded in 1980, is a very high standard symphony orchestra which consists of dedicated semi-professionals, music teachers and high standard amateur musicians. We play a good mix of ambitious and standard repertoire in our concerts, on just four 3-hour rehearsals (usually Thursday/Friday/Friday/Saturday), so players need to be of a very high playing standard and have commitment to practice in advance.

We invite professional conductors to conduct our six concerts per season, and engage professional Leaders and Soloists.

Our home is at St Edmund's church, Pinner Road, Northwood Hills, HA6 1QS, which has a good acoustic and comfortable seating. We also sometimes play at other venues in the Harrow area.  Free refreshments are provided for performers in breaks. Subscriptions are payable after your first free concert and are kept low at £30 per concert or £130 per season (unemployed half priced subscription, and students do not pay a subscription).

If you would like to play in Trinity Orchestra, please email your contact details with your orchestral playing experience to Adrian Parker, Chairman at trinityorchestra@hotmail.co.uk

We look forward to welcoming you to Trinity Orchestra!
