Music Director

Reading Bach Choir is seeking a new Music Director with effect from January 2022 to engage in music making with one of the leading choirs in the Thames Valley.

We are a mixed voice, auditioned choir of around 40–50 members and usually give four concerts a year. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings in Reading between 7.30 and 10pm. The choir expects the new Director to embrace the challenges of rebuilding following the last year of remote music-making, and to lead the choir as it returns to performing varied, challenging and musically demanding programmes which are still accessible to both choir and audience.
