Musical Director for In Ecclesia

In Ecclesia is an auditioned choir based in Taunton with a membership of about 30 (SATB). Our main purpose is to sing choral services (particularly BCP Evensong) in local churches that cannot support their own choirs. Typically we sing between 9 and 13 services a year plus an occasional weekend in Cathedrals.

Rehearsals (around 36 practices p.a.) are on a Thursday evening (19.30 to 21.00) during term time usually at King’s College, Taunton by kind permission of the Headmaster.

No more than once a year, the Choir might perform a concert to raise revenue. We are also invited to sing for weddings, funerals, carols and festival services.
