Making Music membership runs from 1 January to 31 December. So by joining today you will receive membership until the end of 2024 at half price.
However, if you sign up now for membership in 2025, we will include the rest of 2024 for free!
What about insurance?
Our insurance packages also run from the 1 January to 31 December and are pro-rated in April, July and October. If you take out insurance now, it will run until the 31 December 2024 and be based on the October pro-rata fees.
If you take out membership for both 2024 and 2025, you may choose whether or not to buy insurance for both, either or neither year. If you would like insurance and your gross income is above £100K, or you want to increase the limits of the standard package you will need to request a custom insurance quote instead. Changes to insurance premiums and packages for 2025
- The insurance premium is higher for 2025 compared to 2024, due to inflation. More information about fees and package details can be found on our insurance information page. There is one table for 2024 rates and a table underneath for 2025 rates
- For 2024 the single item limit for the ‘All Risks’ property cover is £5K. Making Music and the insurance brokers Finch have successfully negotiated with Covea to increase this limit to £10K for 2025 onwards. Please note that this only applies to the Silver and Gold packages which include ‘All Risks’ property cover and to policies beginning from 1 January 2025.
