We are a friendly, amateur wind band of approximately 24 members who enjoy playing music including pop, musicals and classical.  We are currently playing at grade 3-4 level, after starting as a learner band 5 years ago, and are looking for a conductor who has the enthusiasm and vision to take the band into the future.   We rehearse throughout the year at the Greenfield Centre, Winterbourne, near Bristol, on Thursday evenings 7.30-9.30

Essential qualities are good interpersonal and communication skills, a good sense of humour and most importantly, a desire to offer some teaching to help us continue to become good musicians. We make several appearances each year ranging from our own concerts to flower shows and Christmas Carols at shopping centres.
