Wimborne Choral Society
Wimborne Choral Society is seeking a new Musical Director from January 2025 following the retirement of Christopher Dowie, our founder and musical director since 1978.
WCS is a friendly, non-auditioned SATB choir of about 60 members, open to all who enjoy the classical choral repertoire. The choir rehearse on Thursday evenings in the centre of Wimborne during term time, from 7.30-9.30pm.
Our three annual concerts (usually two with orchestra and one with piano or organ accompaniment) are held in the beautiful Minster church.This is a remunerated position.
